Meet Our Leaders

Dr. Alisa J. Henley, PhD

Dr. Alisa J. Henley, PhD, is the founder, thought leader, and expert in human resources communication at Destiny Consulting. She is responsible for helping clients assess their current performance, identify gaps, and implement plans to address those gaps. Alisa has partnered with organizational leaders to reduce turnover, implement policies and procedures, reorganize and engage employees, manage performance, and oversee day-to-day HR activities. Her expertise extends to developing compensation programs, conducting internal investigations, and designing onboarding and training programs. With a background as a Director of Human Resources and HR Business Partner, Alisa brings a wealth of experience to every client partnership.

Angela L. Lewis, MBA

Angela L. Lewis, MBA, is Destiny Consulting’s expert in coaching and human capital management. She is responsible for helping clients maximize employee experiences, enhance human resources policy, and provide effective administration oversight. Angela has led significant leadership initiatives across both public and private sectors. Her prior experience includes roles as a regional labor and employee relations officer, Senior Human Capital Officer, Deputy Director, and Chief Human Resources Officer. In addition, Angela brings a diverse skill set from her work in federal government, coaching, training, recruiting, and her involvement with tribal nations, grassroots community organizations, and nonprofits.

Dr. Dwayne Smith, JD

Dwayne Smith, JD, is Destiny Consulting’s Human Resources compliance expert, specializing in guiding clients through the complexities of employment-related laws. With over 20 years of experience as a licensed attorney, Dwayne has a deep understanding of labor law and regulatory compliance. His career includes serving as a prosecutor, Director of Compliance for multiple school districts, contract negotiator, and managing his own private law practice. Dwayne’s extensive background allows him to offer strategic, clear guidance to ensure organizations remain compliant while effectively managing risk and fostering a positive workplace environment.
